Lt Gerhard Enßlen, lost 14.03.1941.
Lt Enßlen was the younger brother of Haupt Wilhelm Enßlen, Stab II/JG52, lost 02.11.40, and also a pilot, is there any info on his unit, and the cause of his loss?
Thanks Joe |

Leutnant Ulrich Enßlen
Hello Joe
I found the following: 14 March 1941: Bf 110 C-2 (W.Nr. 3232) flown by Leutnant Ulrich Enßlen (F) and Gefreiter Peter Hansen (Bf) of Geschwader-Ergänzungsstaffel/ZG 26, both killed, collided in air with Bf 110 C-1 (W.Nr. 1357) flown by Leutnant Karl Dahinten (F) and Unteroffizier Otto Wagner (Bf) of Geschwader-Ergänzungsstaffel/ZG 26, both killed, near Ingolstadt. Could this be the fellow you are interested in? Horrido! Leo |
