another new book on the air-war 39-40

following on from Peter Cornwell ATB book thread and given the subject, perhaps worth mentioning that our own Lionel Persyn ('Petit Poucet' on TOCH & LEMB) will have a large book out through Lela Presse early in the New Year covering the operational history of the Curtiss H-75 in Armée de l'Air service - day by day coverage of the activities of the various Groupes de Chasse equipped with the Hawk, rare combat accounts, loss & victory lists etc etc.. just putting the finishing touches to the detailed English-language photo captions, some 33 pages of text alone ..

Sounds very interesting. Are you saying that only the photo captions are in English and the text is French?

Thanks

Hi John,

Text in French ...photo captions in French & English ..the English captions are in many instances more detailed - at least for chapters covering the groupe operational histories - being based on the French text. I'd have loved to have done the whole book ..but I'm handing my bit over on 2 December...
