Identity of FW Condor 19 December 1940

I am trying to identify the Condor and crew which when on an armed recce. flight down the Irish Sea. It attacked shipping as it flew its course at very low level. One of the vessel sunk was the Irish Lights vessel Isolda. I hope that someone can assist me. Many thanks.

Tony: From my perspective, nothing further has emerged than is already in my book-1145 hrs, 4 x SC250 bombs dropped 60 km south of Carnsmore Point on a 1200T ship. Obviously I./KG 40

Re: Identity of FW Condor 19 December 1940

Thanks Chris, I was hoping that there was a daily report of the operation. It is often claimed that the ship Isolda had Irish Neutrality markings on the hull but pictures show that it did not have. It was a British registered vessel hence the attack

Friends, looking for Fw 200 19/12/40, I find this, F8+BW W.Nr. 0016. In this rudder with missions and ships, the tenth date is "19 12 40".

Re: Identity of FW Condor 19 December 1940

This was a well know aircraft which eventually ended up with IV./KG 40. Trouble is the ships sunk are credited to the aircraft not necessarily the same crew-there were insufficient Fw 200s to go round. Quite a number of photos of this plane in my book especially pages 148-149

Am not familiar with Fw 200 Kondor, but just for curiosity...what was the final fate of THIS machine (wknr 0016)?
