Re: POMPE A VIDE unknown air component

Gents,

pompe à vide = vacuum pump

My guess: It is a French part (don't know for which use).

Best Regards
Norbert

Re: POMPE A VIDE unknown air component

Hello ,

I'm not sure but if this is a vacuum pomp , that could be used to serve for the artficial horizon in the cockpit.

http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv2/Learni...it_basics.html
Gyro Power
In most light airplanes, an engine-driven vacuum pump spins the gyros in the attitude indicator and the heading indicator...

AIR-EQUIPEMENT, a french firm, worked for the Luftwaffe, making parts for Fi 156.

http://air-equipement-blois-remember...-remember.html

Could come from a Fi 156 Storch, or as germans and italians used french warplanes like the Dewoitine D.520...
