Bf109E and Bf109G ace for dioramas?

A friend of mine and me are planning to build two dioramas of the planes of one german ace. He has the Airfix Bf109E and I have the Trumpeter Bf109G-6, both in scale 1/24. One diorama would be displaying the ace's early Bf109E and another the ace's Bf109G (preferably a G-6) later in his career.

We have found references for the planes of Ludwig Franzisket. But if you know of any other ace and have profiles or pictures of both his Emil and Gustav, let us know!

One other candidate is Müncheberg but we cannot find profiles or pictures of his Bf109G-6 (W.Nr. 16381)

Thank you!

I thought you might be interested in the following

www.luftwaffe.cz/franzisket.html Claims list for Major Ludwig “Zirkus” Franzisket

www.luftwaffe.cz/muncheberg.html Claims for Major Joachim Müncheberg

Müncheberg was killed on 23 March 1943 over Tunisia in combat with USAAF Spitfire fighters from the 52nd Fighter Group when, after shooting down one, he was in collision with a second. He crashed to his death in Bf 109 G-6 (W.Nr. 16381).

If you open Google’s Search Engine, select Images and enter Ludwig Franzisket you will find photos and models of his aircraft.
You will also get a few images, mostly models, if you type in Joachim Müncheberg

Kind regards
Ross

Thank you for the reply! And yes we are aware of those pages and right now Ludwig Franzisket is the most likely candidate. We found some references for his planes.

I also have found color profiles for the Bf109E and Bf109G-6 flown by Emil Clade

Surely there must be more aces that started with the Bf109E and that continued onto the Bf109G-6?

How about Carganico of JG 5 fame? His G-5 (close to G-6) carried the famous Mickey Mouse and is quite special. His Emil was Yellow 7 and is very well documented.

Bit tired now, but I can supply more references and details, including profiles if necessary.

Ok great!

We have desided to go with either Clade or Carganico. We would appreciate references, photos and profiles for the planes.

Post here or email me at: tomas_tjernberg@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Here's some rather old, but hopefully useful profiles of the two aircraft in question:

Another option is Rall - white 10 E - early, early, I think there are a couple of photos of probably his black 1 in Yugoslavia and then the G-6 he got his thumb shot off in - profile in Barbas.

Kjetil, this Cagarnico's Gustav was a G-6, not a G-5.
There's a classic armored head protection, air vent scoop at the windscreen base, no silica-gel tabs.
A normal one without pressurized cockpit.

Your artwork is really great, I like them!

All the best
Kuba

Yes,you're right, of course. I was originally thinking about his latest aircraft, but I don't have a photo of that aircraft on which to base a profile. I also forgot to mention that my profile is of his G-6 as flown in early 1944 in Northern Finland.
