It Could be Nordmands Dyb i the Northsea. It is located Northwest of Esbjerg.

That could make sence. Nordmands Dyb is located north of Heligoland approx. 140 km north, just west of the town of Esbjerg. Not in the near vicinity of Heligoland tough. According to airwar link, Paul Wengorz, the cew mate to Habben, was washed ashore at Skallingen, a sand tongs just west of Esbjerg.

Nordmands Dyb is a marine channel, according to Mapcarta.
It is located approx 40 km west of Esbjerg town. Dyb means deep. Poul |
