Luftwaffe crew missing over UK

Hello

Does anyone have a list of Luftwaffe crew who are known to have been lost over the UK, but who have no known graves?

I have a memorial card for Franz Xaver Nirschl who was lost on the 19/20th November 1940. Volume 2 of The Blitz Then and Now provides details and confirms that he was killed, but I can find no record of his burial.

Re: Luftwaffe crew missing over UK

Thanks for this information.

It would be interesting to know how many others have no known graves. There is a list in Finding the Foe, but it only covers the period of the Battle of Britain.

Mathsmal,
I do not know of a complete list, but I can advise you that Unteroffizier Gerhard Rüger, pilot of 1. Staffel, Erprobungsgruppe 210, shot down on 6th September 1940, has no known grave, although the circumstances of his being shot down are well-known.

When you take into consideration those who crashed off the coast or simply went missing after take off, this would be a considerable list & as far as I am aware, no comprehensive single list exists.
