Crash Halifax Dezember 4, 1943 near Wildeshausen
Hello everybody!
I'm trying to resolve another crash near my home town. On December 4th, 1943, a Halifx crashed near Kleinenkneten (south of Wildeshausen). Unfortunately, no further information is available. Many thanks for the help! Karsten |

429 Squadron Halifax JD374 crashed at Kleinenkneten at 02.50 hrs, shot down by Nachtjäger:

It looks like Theo's post on Halifax JD374 from 429 squadron is the most likely match. 4 killed and 3 POW.

Shade in grave 237: https://www.cwgc.org/find-records/fi.../#&gid=2&pid=1 Morro, Cabana, and Kelso in 238, 239, 240 https://www.cwgc.org/find-records/fi.../#&gid=2&pid=2 All four are now at Sage War Cemetery.
