325th Fighter Group: 14 February 1944 air combat
Bonjour,
In his book Aces of the 325th Fighter Group (Aircraft of the Aces) Paperback, Osprey (2014), the historian Tom G. Ivie relates this aspect concerning the 14 February 1944 air combat : “One ME-109 ran smack into a B-17 and they both went down in a cloud of smoke.” Please, can we identify the both collided aircrafts and airmen? Happy New Year !!!! Thank you Philippe |
