As on 01.07.21 sellers into the EU are responsible for paying the VAT on their goods to the EU country they are selling into, so a number of suppliers are saying they just cannot be bothered with the hastle.

Interesting, because I thought books were zero rated in the republic, therefore no VAT to pay anyway

Time to start campaigning for Irexit or Eirexit?

It is true, no Vat here, but the Couriers are cashing in on the new ruling have and devised every scheme/scam they can dream up to get extra money from the receiver……
