First use of plywood instrument panels in Bf 109G-4s
I have link from Luftwaffe Bullet Board (http://www.luftwaffe-bullet-board.co...pic.php?t=7380) with a remark that the link was claiming that "Bf109G-4s from 19213-19975 WNr blocks were the first Bf 109s installed with plywood instrument panels, instead of the metal ones". I cannot see the details of the information there as the board is already closed.
However, such a claim must have a baseground and I am currently looking for the sources that include this information about the "first" use of plywood instrument panels in WNr 19213-19975 Bf109G-4s. Does anybody have the documents (RLM directives, Mtt files, etc.) about this topic. Regards, batur |
