Birth date of Paul Galland

Can anybody please tell me the birth date of this youngest of the four Galland brothers. I( have heard two dates.......1916, and November 1919!

We have 1916 in Birchum. But the day and month are missing and Birchum cannot be located and does not appear to exist. I suspect our information was taken from a published source and therefore of questionable reliability.

There is no "Westerholdt" in Google Maps, Google Earch or VectorGlobe, the latter with over 3,000,000 place names indexed. But there is a "Westerholt", a town of some size in Ostfriesland about 10.5 km E of Norden.

3rd November 1919 does make more sense than 1916, not only more accurate a date, but Adolf Galland mentions Paul as "One very young brother"

Westerholt is a castle (still existing) situated in the town of Herten, NW outskirts of the Ruhr Industrial Area. Adolf Galland was born there as well.
