On 24 April, 1942, his Ju 87 was 25% damaged by enemy fire at Murmansk.
Neither he nor his R/O, Uffz Karl Hammel were hurt (Source: SIG Norway).
His last assignment was in III/KG200, a Mistel unit out of Norway in March/April, 1945.
Survived the war with 262 combat missions. Lives in Lippstadt as of 2004. Jager Blatt 5/2004.
