Hi Cees,

GH-590 was the target reference for the Marshalling Yard at Osnabrück.

With regard to your previous post: GU-4084 was Bramsche Aerodrome.

GH 590 was the Marshaling Yards at Osnabruck.

Search for 590 on this link, which describes a 26 Sep 1944 attack.

Super! In one German book about the attack of Diepholz on 21 feb 1944 it was stated that the town was the target (Stadt Osnabrück) in case Diepholz could not be bombed for whatever reason. The decision would be made when the formation would reach the IP. They choose Diepholz. --Cees
