Mystery 15 Oct 1941

I ran across a report for the 15 Oct 1941 concerning the Soviet 41 BBAP. At 16:13 (Moscow Time) 15 SB bombers at an altitude of 1300 m bombed the village of Troitskoe, 12 km north of Taganrog and were attavkec in the area of Nikolaevka bu up to 25 Bf 109.
SB of Kapt. Fedoseev (2AE) made an emergency landing at Rosrov for unknown reason.
SB of Lt. Ershov sat down on an emergency at 40 km to the east of Troutskov.
SB of Ml. Lt. Stroganov went down burning on German territory.
SB of St. Lt. Davidenko went down burning on German territory.
5 SB bombers damaged.
TsAMO f. 22096, o. 0184893s, d. 0001, l. 10
One SB gunner claimed a shot down Me-109. No German fighters lost for that reason.

No claims for these SB by III./JG 52, I(J)/LG 2, II./JG 77 and III./JG 77.
So possibly by Rumanian Bf 109 in the area?

Thanks Kirill, I ran across this by accident and thought I would pass it on. It was interesting that no German claims appeared for them.

Re: Mystery 15 Oct 1941

Hello Nokose,
thanks for your postings. Regarding 41 BBAP I would like to add according to a time converter Moscow time was UTC + 3hours in 1941, Berlin time UTC+1 making a difference of 2 hours between Moscow and Berlin so the claims of Setz and Reinert seem to fit (then 16.22/16.23 MT) - correct me if I´m wrong...?

15-10-1941 0:00:00,"Oblt.","Heinrich","Setz","4.","JG 77","SB-3","-","14.22"," 26"," 394","yes","Prien/Bock",,,

15-10-1941 0:00:00,"Uffz.","Ernst-Wilhelm","Reinert","4.","JG 77","SB-3","-","14.23"," 19"," 395","yes","Prien/Bock",,,

Cheers

Michael
