Information on KG 26 crew
Hi,
Please see attached photo and caption on KG26 crew. Does anyone know eventual fate of all four? I think two were lost in 1941. Thanks Rick Last edited by rickback4444; 2nd April 2017 at 09:49. |

This is the crew of Hptm Erhard Pöhler of 8./KG 26. He was shot down over Russia 9 Sep 41 by which time he was St Kap-Ofw Werner Hartmann and he were missing and Ofw Paul Teister wounded

From the KG26 history by Steenbeck - 09.09.1941 He 111 H-6 1H+CS 0411 (4011= H-5) 8/KG26 100% fell to fighter attack , unknown location in the East . Bf and Bm baled out with Bm Ofw Paul Teister lightly wounded , Ff Hpt Ehrhard Pohler and B Ofw Werner Hartmann both missing - dead.
