Ah okay...

Sounds like it is still not correct...

This is what I have acquired...a cut-out wood section, taken from a bird at Straubing.

Based on the construction, it is 100% NOT from an Me109, Fw190, Me262, or any other fighter that had a wood tail. Vet states it was from a training aircraft...but...there are not too many pics or records of anything BUT fighters.

The Fw44 tail was of different construction...and the hole does not appear to be a bullet hole, but rather part of the manufacture process(?)...I have seen other tails with similar features...

Thoughts?

Fw44 was also fabric covered...

So it does not fit, as this is all wood construction.
