FW 190 relics

Hello

Recently we found remains of FW 190, which probably crashed on 25.2.1944 in NW part of Slovenia. We were able to identify engine parts as BMW 801. I also have a part of fuselage dark green color with white letter “M” on it. Letter is about 5 cm high and appears to be first letter of a word or sign, painted on the fuselage (part is broken at that point).
There were only two units at that time located quite close in northern Italy: I./JG 2 and I./SG 4.
Does anybody know where that Focke Wulf came from?

Thanks.
