Note that the WNr. Chris reported was also reported missing on 20-Aug-41 with KGr. 806, likely at sea. My information is the same as his, but the WNr. is likely incomplete and missing the first two digits. (WNr. 301232, 141232, typo for the KGr. 806 loss?)

Jim, I think "301232" did not exist (likely "in blank block"). No real reason to doupt the (A-4) 0881232 M7+HK 28.08.1941 2./KGr 806 loss, and have no info on it having but that number - nor retrived or repaired, so that leaves only ATG assembled A-4 W.Nr. (088014)1232 (this had 40 % Er dam at Foggia a year earlier). So more than "two digits" missing.

Besides the I/NJG 7 was ex-III/KG 3 if anyone wonders, an former Ju 88 A-4 Bomber unit, starting out with 41 Ju 88 A-4 and one Ju 88 C-6 in January 1944. http://www.ww2.dk/oob/bestand/njagd/binjg7.html

More than "two digits" missing - technically true, but losses were generally only reported with 4 to 6 digits. I use that standard. Just a matter of personal preference as to how we each record such things....Thanks Ed.
