B-17 42-5820 379th Bomb group
Hello,
B-17 42-5820 379BG 526BS crashed on 12-08-1943 after a raid on gelsenkirchen. 7 Crewmembers where POW 3 KIA Who can tell me the excact crashplace of this plane???? One said Oberbruch-Heinsberg(Germany) the another said Arhweiler-Germany. Michel |

"Losses of the US 8th and 9th Air Forces" says: Thr three KIA were buried on the crash site, about two miles west of Ahrweiler, Germany.
