French sources are contradictory to each other

According to my own filed, it was shot down on 4 June.

As CJE wrote the correct date for this loss is 4 june 1940.

Caujolles/Collomb/Fonvielle shot down after 35' of flight.

Caujolles WIA on 4/6 died on 8 june 1940

It seems a bit more complex.

According the site "39-45.auzeau.fr":Maurice Marcel Fonvielle (gunner)...shot down on 03/06/1940... who died on 04/06/1940 (Anisy-le-chateau) after being wounded.

Who to believe?

I believe you can trust both Chris and Bertrand in this case.

An individual in France, Paul Martin, has spent a lifetime researching this period and he also states very clearly, that this Potez was shot down on the 4th, NOT the 3rd
