Re: Unidentified Aircraft parts?

Can I add, Air is not my bag and this could be Allied or post war but likely wartime since it has not been disturbed for a very long time in a remote and restricted area.

Your loss.

I would like to post here directly but as stated above I can't for whatever reason? see error message, have you any advice on how I can post here directly?

I presume that my other post on D5+B is also not visible to non registered users on the other site?

Thanks

Rich

Re: Unidentified Aircraft parts?

Upload to f.e. Tinypic or other good hosting site and only post link to it, in text,
but have text in lines abowe and below. Some sites fight "link only" postings as spam.
That way no bytes be stored here, and size can be as large as host allows.
"My loss" is your loss actually.

  1. Go to the thread you want to contribute to.
  2. Hit the big "Post Reply" button on the left, near the top of the screen.
  3. Type what ever you want to say in the box.
  4. Then look at the menu bars above the reply box: in the upper row you'll see a black paperclip icon (to the right of the smiley face icon).
  5. Click on the paperclip and a box "Manage Attachments" comes up.
  6. In upper section that box, click on "choose file" — that will open a window on your computer so you can navigate to your image.
  7. Select your image, then hit the "Upload" button in that bit of the box.
  8. Give it a few seconds and then an icon will appear alongside the "choose file" button.
  9. Done.

If you are posting an image found on the internet, instead of step 6 above, use the bottom half of the "Manage Attachments" box where it says "Upload File from a URL". Type or paste the file location in the box, click the upload button at the bottom of that section of the box, and wait a few seconds for it to upload and an icion should apear. I can't promise this will work if there's some restriction on the use of the original online image.

Re: Unidentified Aircraft parts?

Nick,
Thank you for taking the time to post those instructions. I am happy with all of that. It is a technical issue as I have posted pictures before. It states I have reached my limit, does that mean I must delete old pictures to post new one's? Seems odd.
