8th Air Force, 453rd BG, 735 BG plane listings?
My Grandfather (Chris Christensen - turning 92 years young his December) flew in the 735 BG and I was looking to see if anyone knew where might be able to find a listing of all the planes, serial numbers, and even crew member listings out there? Possible photos as well? I've been searching the internet for quite sometime and haven't found to much on the 735 BG yet and hoping someone might have some more info or point me in the right direction.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-) |

Re: 8th Air Force, 453rd BG, 735 BS plane listings?
Firstly I'm sure you mean to say 735th Bomber Squadron, which together with 732nd BS,733rd BS and 734th BS were all part of the same Bomber Group. The Group flew B-24 Liberators and was part of the Second Air Division based at Old Buckenham, Norfolk.
Regarding aircraft listings the best is this site dedicated to the 453rd BG http://tinpan.fortunecity.com/aprils...64/planes.html I hope this helps
