Re: 8.4.1945

Hello Oleg,
first of all I want to thank you for sharing infos on your excellent website, well appreciated! Regarding 08.04.45 I have also one question about a less known JG.52 ace lost this day: 08/04/45 Lt. Friedrich Haas: 74 ( II./JG 52) KIA over Vienna, Bf.109 s/d by soviet fighter.

Are soviet fighter pilots known for this day and area?
I only have: On 08.04.45 Kapitan Aleksey Pavlovich Blinov (13) of La-7-equipped 179 GIAP (14 GIAD, 3 GIAK, 5 VA, 2 UF) was credited with 1 Bf.109 s/d E Kempfendorf (E of Vienna) for his 13th victory.
There were sure more claims...

Cheers

Michael
