Dornier Do 17 The Yugoslav story

On the 67th anniversary of the beginning of the "April War", and after many years and numerous (prematured) statements I can make a definite announcement that the book "Dornier Do 17 The Yugoslav story: Operational Record 1937 - 1947" written by Dragan Savic and myself will be aviable for sale from 16 April on. More details at

Possibly throughout some of the retailers but it will take some time. Chances are much better that it will appear very soon on AbeBooks.

I ordered it through the website indicated. I'll let you know how long it takes to get here (Eastern US.)

Thank you very much for this, looking forward to this one!

Re: Dornier Do 17 The Yugoslav story

Yesterday I met both authors, Boris and Dragan, here, in Hungary. We had a good amount of in-depth discussion about the circumstances of writing the book and many other topics of mutual interest (all these 'washed down' with fair amount of cold beer). I also received a complimentary copy of the book.

What can I say, this is THE book on this topic. Well written, well illustrated and well sourced, all done in quality printing - just as such a historical book should be.
Highly recommended.

Re: Dornier Do 17 The Yugoslav story

Received the book today, and all I can say is - WOW!! Everything you could possibly want to know about the Do 17 in Yugoslav service, or in service anywhere in the region. From a quick skim, very comprehensive, readable, well-illustrated - a treasure!
Ordered it off the website earlier on in the thread, per e-mail was mailed April 12th, received April 21st, pretty darn good considering the distance (I am on the East coast of the US.)
Thank you Bopris and Dragan for an excellent book!

Paul

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with the authors or distributors, just a happy customer.
