No.85 Squadron
Hi,
Trying to confirm if a P/O James McAllister McBride, known as 'McB' operated with No.85 Squadron in 1942/43. Would like to establish when he was posted onto 85 and from where, and when he departed 85 Squadron and to where. Killed on No.161 Squadron December 17th 1943, former 218 Squadron tour expired pilot. TIA Steve

Re: No.85 Squadron
He most certainly was with 85 Steve. I even have a night ops list dated the 4th November 1942 showing P/O McBride. PM me if you would like a scan.

Re: No.85 Squadron
Steve,
On 4 March 2019, you asked for information on "McB". I supplied some of the information you needed. There was no acknowledgement for my efforts. http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...uadron-experts Col. |
