IAR-Potez 25

IAR-Potez 25 by DAN ANTONU & GEORGE CICOS is the first book publish by Romanian publishing house HOST MODELS. In fact this is an extra of the magazine MODEL IST (Modeling and Military History), and it just came out! The book is a short history of the Romanian plane IAR- Potez 25 constructed under license at IAR factory.
The book in split in 2 parts:
First part , is a short history of this plane constructed at IAR factory, illustrated with 37 black/white pictures, 11 fotos from the plane maintenance book and a appendix about date of putting in service of each plane.
Second part is about Little Entente and Poland contest, where Roamanian participated with IAR-Potez 25 planes. This part is illustrated with 25 black/white picture.
The book also contain 10 color profiles of the plane, and 1 image from top and from beneath made by TLM(Teodor Liviu Morosanu) .

Who we are? HOST MODELS is a publishing hose from Brasov,Romania and from few month we are editing a magazine about modeling and military history, magazine wich is now at the 3rd apparition. Our goal is to promote Romanian tehnical construction, history and local modeling builders. Yes, it apper! I made the corections in my previous post. I made some bad pictures of the book with my old digi camera. Book looks much better of course!

Looks like an interesting title on the Potez 25 in general and specifically the licence built IAR variant.

Did the licence built IAR Potez differ much from the original?

It has some minor upgrades like defensiv turret and undercarriage shock absorber.

P.S. Next issue is about IAR 37.38.39. have a nice week!

I forgot to mention. The interior had 2 variants: black/white and dark sepia. Who buy the book could choose which one he like.
