Staffel Falke (StG1)
Hello,
Staffel Falke, assembled from various Staffeln of II./StG1, operated in the summer of 1942 in Lw-Kdo Ost. Are Falke's name, rank and other details known? I couldn't find him in Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries. Best regards, Andrey |

Re: Staffel Falke (StG1)
Maybe it's not a surname, but a Staffel's name? Though it's not typical for Luftwaffe.

Re: Staffel Falke (StG1)
There was a cargo glider squadron Falke (loss report from 11 Oct. 1941)
and a cargo glider squadron Adler (loss report from 18 Nov. 1941 and 28 Nov. 1941), whose origin and further history I do not know. regards JoMe |

Re: Staffel Falke (StG1)
Hello JoMe,
thank you! So, in principle, the names of the Staffeln were practiced. However, it is unclear whether this applies to Stuka-Stukastaffel Falke. Best regards, Andrey |

Re: Staffel Falke (StG1)
Not impossible though: Kdo. Sperling is a well-known example.
