Loss of Uffz. Pöpel 1./JG3 & Lt. Fried?

Hi Guys,

Another query that I have regards the loss of Lt. Pöpel of 1./JG3. Unfortunately I do not have him listed in my loss data but was in a POW camp in Canada along with a pilot Lt or possibly Oblt. Fried, again no details on this fellow either. Any further details would be greatly appreciated. All pictures will be up on our website in due course.

Note; It is Lt. Pöpel not Uffz as I put in the heading, dont worry its an age thing, I think?

Regards

Melvin
