Grp.Capt. Michael T. Judd, DSO, DFC, AFC

Michael Judd passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at his home in Houston, Texas. Coincidentally the same age and living in the same state as the French ace Marcel Albert.

According to "Aces High," Judd had 4 destroyed plus 3 damaged while serving in North Africa, first as a flight commander in 238 Sqn. and then as CO of 250 Sqn. It is possible that he may have been credited with a 5th victory while serving as a wing leader in NW Europe in 1944.

His obituary was in the print version of the NY Times on Aug. 25 and identically in the link below:
