Captured Ju 88 F1+EU at Wunstorf

Gentlemen,
just looking for a confirmation. In Classic's "Schlachtflieger" book, page 89 is a color shot of a captured Ju 88 A, coded xx+EU at Wunstorf. Caption says its full code was F1+EU, but this is not visible. The same is true for another photo I have of this plane. Can someone confirm the "F1" code please?

Cheers,
Christian

That coding is listed in A-I-2(g) Serial Report 269.

Thanks a lot Steve!

BTW: Does the report mention the color of the ring on the port spinner (Visible in the second photo I have)?

No, I'm afraid not. As far as it goes is to mention that the letters are in black with the exception of the E which is white.

An individual 2nd TAF A-Report would have been issued for this aircraft as they were for all of the aircraft at Wunstorf but these have never surfaced in any archival trawl I've ever made. I can't say that it would necessarily have included much in the way of extra information as this was hardly a Category One type by this stage of the war.
