Re: Publication news on new books on Battle of Britain & Barbarossa Air Battle

Please see at the bottom of my website:
Other book projects and forthcoming books

http://www.bergstrombooks.elknet.pl/

I also have contracts for two separate pilot biographies - on two German fighter pilots from JG 54 "Grünherz" . Those two books are completed, and the layout work is nearly finished. When I met the publisher a couple of weeks ago, I saw the front covers and the layout, and I can guarantee that it is of the highest quality. Each of those books will also contain a large number of colour profiles by Claes Sundin. However, due to the publisher's wish, I wait before I promote them further. These two books have a very special "angle" which the publisher wants to go public on only just before they are published. Expect both books to be published later in 2006.
I am also working in close cooperation with the famous Russian aviation historian Yuriy Rybin on a book called Fighter Combat Above the Polar Circle. I have a very interested publisher, but at the moment I am occupied with other projects, and have to get those off my desk first. Will keep you posted about this new book project here.

As mentioned, any news on forthcoming books will be given on my website:

http://www.bergstrombooks.elknet.pl/

Right now I have at least eleven books in the pipeline:

Black Cross/Red Star, Vol. 3: Was printed last week, expect it to be out later this month.

Luftstrid över Kanalen: To be published in September 2006.

Battle of Britain: Dec 2006

JG 54 Pilot Biography #1: Probably autumn 2006

JG 54 Pilot Biography #2: Probably autumn 2006

Barbarossa the Air Battle: Spring 2007

Stalingrad the Air Battle: Autumn 2007

Nattbombare: Autumn 2007

Kursk the Air Battle: Spring 2008

Eastern Front Air War 1944-45: Autumn 2008

Black Cross/Red Star, Vol. 4: 2007-2008?

I have to do one thing at a time, and since my readers have been kept waiting very long for delayed books, I don't want to make more promises. So please hold on.

It was like a dream... a book on Walter Schuck seemed to appear and then disappear... I hope it will rise again someday perhaps.
