Luftwaffe WWII Airfield Photos Needed

I am doing a large 1:72 scale airfield and battlefield but can not find photos of orginal airfields to design my runways and buildings.

Anything on the Western front or Germany would be most appreciated.

My tag is what I fly under on line in Fighter Ace.

Thanks for the info, some of this will be useful for my layout.

I would like to use Abbeville, France as my airfield since JG26 were stationed there and nicknamed the Abbeville Kids, but I cannot find details like the site you directed me to.

The only photo I can find is the airfield as it exist in 2005.

Does anyone have 1940,s photos or info on Abbeville, France?

First two documents (1946) courtesy of french STBA (air base gvt service)

The last one a document communicated courtesy of J. Leclercq (1944), a french researcher...

Note that these documents are quite representative of the Abbeville airfield mid-1941 hence...
