Between 1946-49, Japan. So possibly both USAAF and USAF.

He's on findagrave: Lt Col Thomas Pawlowski (1922-1998) with service in WW II, Korea and Vietnam.
In 1963 he's mentioned as being with the USAF Academy in Colorado as the commander of Hq Squadron. Regards, Leendert |
