Unknown decorated fighter pilot - please help
Gents,

Below a portrait of a fighter pilot. His name is given on the back as Hans-Friedrich STIGLER. I cannot find any information on his unit etc.

One finds loads of information on Franz Stigler but I do not believe them to be the same person (resemblance, rank ...).

Does anybody know this fighter pilot please?

Might be Hans Stigler, who flew in St.G 77, St.G 3 and SG 3. Killed 1944-06-09 in Fw 190 F-8/R1, 930881, 6Q+TW.

I do not think so as he has the figher pilot clasp.

Hans Stigler, JG 27 - 28 victory credits. IIRC Stigler is famous for Not shooting down a crippled B-17 piloted "Brown" - have to dig on this. If same one
