Re: He 111H-6 lost 10.9.41 8/KG26
Hi,
Details I have are: Failed to return after fighter attack during Ostfront sortie. W/T operator and engineer baled out. He111 H-6 WNr 4110 1H+KS 8./KG26. Hptm Erhard Pohler (pilot) and Oberfw Werner Hartmann (observer) missing. Oberfw Paul Teisker (engineer) injured. Don't have any reference to Staffelkapitan. Hope this helps! Re: He 111H-6 lost 10.9.41 8/KG26
Hi Steve,
Usually I find those that survived an incident intact didn't get a mention, so can only presume, unless someone can prove otherwise, that the Bordfunker(W/T operator) got back okay - after baling out and not having been injured? Regards, David |
