Ju 52/3m 03.12.1943. Croatia

Hii all
My name is Antun and I come from Croatia. I am an aviation researcher of crashed or downed aircraft (ww2 era) in my region. By now I had some luck
One of those cases (was already researched before) was
Ju 52/3m that was shot down on 03.12.1943. near village of Gruda. Claim was taken by RAF 72 squadron pilot B. W. Clarke. I found RAF documents and story, found location, parts, some documents and witness from the crash.
I am now trying to find German documents from that case (Luftwaffe loss documents) or:

Genst.Gen.Qu.6.Abt.(Stat.) Nr. 9890/43 g.Kdos, 17.12.1943, Lfd.Nr 33
Genst.Gen.Qu.6.Abt.Nr. x1601/44 g.Kdos(V), 16.01.1944, Lfd.Nr y

http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_public.asp?lossid=108974

Please, if any of you know where I can find these documents.
Is there any archive I can write and ask if they have it.

that is me

thanks in advance
Antun

Hi Antun, the first record you seek shows the Ju52 as belonging to II/TG4 werk nummer 10138 , unfortunately the names of the five dead crewman are written in hand and I cannot make them out . This info. is on page 3 of GQM report dated 17-12-43 . The second report dated 16.01.1944 which probably confirms the crew as killed is I believe not available as most of the GQM for 1944 is missing. Hopefully someone else may have a better copy showing the crew names and will be able to help,

Regards
Brian bines

Hello Brian and Gerhard

Thanks for info, I appreciate it very much.
I have info on this but I am searching for the document. Is it possible that you send me print screen of the page if you have them.
I am new in this and by now I don't have experience with German reports.
You can send me message.

And even thou this was horrible thing and everybody got killed, on the day of the crash one amazing friendship evolved.
When the aircraft crashed near small village of Dobruša in Konavle region in now day Republic of Croatia, local people rushed to the location in hope to give help. They came to the site and found horrible scene. On the same day but some time later on German soldiers (from Gruda) came to the location to pick up the bodies and together with locals they cleared up the ruble. One of the locals yelled Šapro (local surname) and one German soldier came to them and said I am Schaper and he was amazed that they have similar surnames. They become very good friends. Helmut Schaper came to small village of Dobruša after the war to visit his friends and to visit crash site. Last time he came in 1988 and this is his picture. He even learned some Croatian and locals loved him very much.
