Re: Book about RAF squadrons?

Nick,
There are several good books on 331-333 (N) sqn. but all that I know are either in Norwegian or Danish, e.g.:

Vera Henriksen. Fem år i utlegd : (juni 1940 - mai 1945)
Frederik Meyer. Hærens og marinens flyvåpen 1912-1945

Kjeld Rønhoff (danish). Vi fløj for friheden.
Cato Guhnfeldt. Marius. Skiløber - Jageress - Krigsfange (about Marius Eriksen)
Svein Heglund. Høk over høk.

Regards,
Mikkel

Re: Book about RAF squadrons?

Just some more books/info on 331-333:

Hafsten, B., Arheim, T. 2003. Marinens Flyvevåpen 1912-1944. Tankestreken.

Meyer's book is long out of print and actually an collectors item.

By the way, the operational records books (ORB) for all norwegian sqadrons in RAF during WWII are available as pdf-files for downloading (3701 pages). A good primary source if you are interested.

Regards,

Kjetil

Re: Book about RAF squadrons?

I am not aware of a specialised history on 21 Sqdn but the sqdns activities feature quite strongly in Michael Bowyer's book "2 Group RAF - a complete history 1936-45" ISBN 0 947554 25 4
