Thanks Andrey. I knew the cruiser Molotov had a radar set in 1941. Also the Bv-138 shot down was 7R+HH # 130110 1/SAGr 125 by most likely then Jr Lt A Karpov flying a P-40 of 30 ORAP. Two of the crew where picked up by the Sposobnyi and were killed when the ship was sunk. This I understand was the only German aircraft shot down during this day. Which shows some poor fighter cover. The shoot down happened at 0700 about the same time as the first Ju-87 attack. If the Russians did not spot the Ju-87s until they where already in their dives there may have been no time for the crew of the Kharkov to do anything to disrupt their attack.
