GQM Verluste und Unfälle.

BAMA has begun to scan these, and allready put up some of them on invenio.

Re: GQM Verluste und Unfälle.

As Jörn has said, it looks like they are working through them chronologically - currently available: RL 2-III/184 and 1173 - 1180.

Re: GQM Verluste und Unfälle.

Hello,

Just followed through on Jorn and Steve's comments and downloaded those that are digitised. Quality is very good - compared to the copies that I have had for a number of years.

Unfortunately, Bd 3 (RL 2-III/1174) & 4 (RL 2-III/1175) which cover June 1940 - Jan 1941 do not appear to have yet been digitised (according to the displays that I am seeing).

Andy

Agreed. I was too busy checking first and last items digitised to note the small gap in the middle which logically should be rectified shortly.

Thanks all. Quality is 100% because these are not copies of the IWM 35 mm rolls, as sold by SELKE (and viewable at BAMA) but scans of the original docs now in Freiburg from the (ex IWM) FD collection returned to Germany. The SELKE 1943 set (IWM) 1185 onwards have many moved or blurry pages, as on on IWM rolls, so I look forward to check them.

Ed

Re: GQM Verluste und Unfälle.

Ed,

Thanks for the info - I am looking forward to the other files even more now if the quality stays the same right the way through.

Re: GQM Verluste und Unfälle.

Peter,

First you must register on the website

https://invenio.bundesarchiv.de/invenio/login.xhtml

After registration you have to go to 'Suche' :

https://invenio.bundesarchiv.de/invenio/main.xhtml

In the field 'Signatur' one has to mention the requested file and then 'Suchen'.

Good hunting !

Best regards

Luc

Re: GQM Verluste und Unfälle.

Luc/Peter,

There is no need to register.

Just use the login link that Luc provided and click on "Suche ohne Anmeldung" (Search without Registering).

Then either use the Suche function - enter the file name in full (e.g. RL 2-III/1180) in the "Signatur" field on that page or use the browse facility on the left of the page.

Good luck
