Vickers Wellington Bomber serial DF673AA
On August 29th 1942, the Wellington Bomber serial DF673AA (75th New Zealand Squadron) was attacked by German warplanes above the village of Stekene (Belgium).
The Wellington crashed on the territory of Moerbeke-Waas at the place called “Pereboomsgat” . The 5 crewmembers (Henry Vickers, Sidney Davis, Laurence Hiltz, Daniel McKay en Horace Baittle), were KIA. Perhaps somebody can acknowledge a German claim (Time, Location, Unit) for this Wellington?
