LW losses 29/05/44
29th May 1944. While providing target support over Cottbus, the Group claimed 12 E/A destroyed in the air, plus seven on the ground. Within thirty seconds, 376th pilot Lt. Dale F. Spencer shot down four Me410s near Lansberg as they prepared to attack the 401st BG.
Can anyone identify the LW units, and their casualties? regards Keith |

Re: LW losses 29/05/44
2. and 3./ZG 26 lost 5 crews that day, all due to "Luftkampf". Looks like the claims were accurate.
