Re: Feldwebel Prange perhaps a RO/AG Nightfighter
Hello Chris,
I'm not only interested in aerial warfare history, I also collect medals and decorations from this topic. I am particularly interested in the unacceptable awards given by German night fighters. These would be victory cups for the pilots and silver cigarette boxes for the radio operators. These parts are engraved with a name and can thus be assigned to a specific person. One of these boxes is currently on sale at the Wehrmacht Award Forum. The engraving on the deck reads: "Fw Prange for special achievements in night hunting." It would be interesting to find out with which pilot Fw. Prange flew his missions and in which unit he served. This is the background of my request. Kind regards waterloo |
