Fighter Sweep to Hannan, 8/11/44

The 65 Sqn RAF ORB indicates a fighter sweep to the Hannan area, presumably in Germany, on 8 Nov 44. Where is this?

Vector Globe with 3.5 million indexed place names says no such place. It's almost certainly a typo. There are many Northwest European place names that begin with "Han".

Re: Fighter Sweep to Hannan, 8/11/44

Hi Bruce

It's not my typo! The 150 Wing ORB says that the sweep was in the area Munster > Hamm > Paderborn > Gutersloe in support of Ramrod 1362 a daylight raid on Homberg.

Thanks for your replies guys. No doubt it is a typo, so think I'll go with the 150 Wing ORB on this one!
