Douglas XAD-5 Skyraider

Hello All,

Does anyone know if the denomination XAD-5 (Bu 124006) was official or unofficial? Indeed in its movement card, no 'X' is written and I was wondering if any photo of this aircraft can bring any evidence in one or another sens.

Thanks in anticipation

Phil
