Lt Erich Kolodzie, JG 54
This ace (13 known kills) was killed in October 1944 but i have 3 possible dates for his death.
Gunther Rosipal's lists shows him KIA in aerial battle on 13 October 1944. Magnus ace list says he was KIA on 15 October 1944. The Volksbund Databank lists a Ltn Erich Kolodzie with a death date as 25 October 1944 and buried in Germany. Kolodzie is a rather rare name (only 10 in the whole Volksbund database) and given the same rank and the burial place it is probably the JG 54 pilot. If anyone has more details, I will be interested. According to Rosipal's list, he was killed in Fw190 D-9 WNr 210030 south of Minden by Allied fighters. Thanks in advance Laurent |
