Paul Galland
Gentlemen,
Going through a bunch of Luft documents that I have. I have a promotion document for Paul Galland, one of Adolf Gallands brother who was later killed. My question is can anyone identify the Staffelkäpitan who signed it? Cheers Bill

Good evening,
One thing puzzles me here. The document says Paul Galland was Catholic ('Konfession: kath.'), while apparently the Galland family were of Huguenot ancestry. Were they actually Catholic, or did Paul convert to Catholicism, or is it just a mistake? Thank you in advance.

The Galland brothers' mother was said (by Adolf) to be a devout Catholic.
