The KG27 a/c crashed at Sturminster Marshall at 02:00 hrs according to the sites I can see.

Comely's sortie on 11/12 was 22:55 to 00:35 hrs. Therefore the He111 crashed one and a half hours after he landed.

Aces High lists Comely making a claim for a Ju88 over Portland during the day, I assume he (Mr Shores) was thinking this came with the other 87 Sqn claims, but the ORB says only 6 a/c of B Flt were involved
