Ofw Schofbeck KGr.zbV 9
The e-bay photo listing thread by Chuck includes a photo of Ju 52 pilot Ofw. Schofbeck of KGr.zbV 9 lost 1942. I have looked through the GQM for 1942 but could not find anything, although some names are unreadable, are any details of his loss known.

Looking through GQM for 1942 and up to Feb. 1943 it appears KGr.zbV9 lost nine Ofw. pilots and observers killed, missing or wounded. Of these only three had names beginning with S :- report dated 18-3-42 page 4 has a Ff Ofw. Georg S-------- +, report dated 16-12-43 page 4 has Ff Ofw. Kurt Scheimann m, while report dated 14-1-43 page 7 Has B Ofw Bruno Sch------ + . Seeking help with the two part surnames if anyone has clear copies of these two pages. Looking at the photo on :-
