Ju88S-1 W/Nr 300494 of 1/KG66 that crashed on the night of 21/22 April 1944 at South Flevoland polder Holland.

Searching for information relating to Ju88S-1 W/Nr 300494 of 1/KG66 that crashed on the night of 21/22 April 1944 at South Flevoland polder Holland.

This aircraft was recovered in June 1973 by the Royal Netherlands Air Force Recovery Unit.

Any information appreciated.

Aircraft of E-St./KG 66 Ff. Uffz Ehrhardt Troitsch, B Fw. Hans Geppert, Bf Uffz. Walter Weber all noted as ''tot angeschwemmt''. It is noted on the NVM the aircraft was on an operational flight, that night the Luftwaffe target being Hull. The Dutch recovery report included finding parts of Flying Helmet's, two pistols, 4 parachute flares a LUX sea marker,and a BMW engine,
